Perlon’s co-founder Markus Nikolai returns with another deliciously executed twelve, with a-side track ‘Kiss Your Mind’ crafting a pristine line in hiccup funk alongside a hovering vocal contribution from Clair Dietrich that takes the track into a kind of alien environment where pristine machine funk sits alongside an altogether more pop-driven variant of House music. “No Need To Rush” on the flip is a more organic number, making use of a heavy dubsided bassline, reconfigured jazz effects and vocal edits for a blinding, unique re-imagination of classic club music for 2010.
