Jumbonics – Jumbonics EP

Rob Mac and Matt Smooth are known for their DJ’ing at Scratch, Fabric and Storm, recording as Speeka for Ultimate Dilemma and writing for Straight No Chaser. This project finds them taking a slightly different route joined by the sound of vintage 60’s Italian Jem Jumbo organ. When the dust was cleared from the keyboard it was clear the flickering valves still had some funk left to give. For extra dancefloor juice this 12″ also features a great remix by Tru Thoughts young find Diesler. Jumbonics deliver an edgy jazzy soundtrack to all discarded, outdated and unwanted electronic devices around the world.
