For those unfamiliar, ìGod Made Me Phunkyî centers on one of the best piano loops ever used in a house record, with a funky bassline and great earthy spoken vocals, all of which result in one of the all-time great house tracks. On the reverse, the Sunshine Brothers rework the track by letting the piano line rock the floors almost untouched, while the vocal is stripped away to late-arriving snippets on a super-tracky peaktime floor pleaser.
