Gatekeeper & Appleblim – Blip / Vansan

The latest missive from the Bristol skool of Bass comes from Gatekeeper, providing the electro-shocked ‘Blip’ backed with his version of Appleblim’s ‘Vansan’. ‘Blip’ skulks on the fringes of dubstep where breaks, hard electro and darker substances are traded for the usual cliches, resulting in a mutant warehouse stepper ripe for the heavy steppers. Following T++’s lead, he’s the next to remix ‘Blim’s proudest moment on ‘Vansan’, using the trickling motif over bulbous kicks and wrought iron stabs to hit hard and heavy over a big rig. Nastiness!
