Joss Stone, the 16-year old soul sensation from Devon releases her debut UK single, ‘Fell In Love With a Boy’ (re-titled from The White Stripes’ original, ‘Fell in Love with a Girl’).



This is the first single to be taken her album, ‘The Soul Sessions’, which has been attracting significant attention in the US and is now receiving similar acclaim here in the UK.



Featuring Philadelphia’s finest hip-hop group ‘The Roots’ as her backing band, soul legend Betty Wright and nu-soul sensation Angie Stone on backing vocals, ‘Fell In Love With A Boy’ is a track which oozes effortless cool.



Fronted by the extraordinary soul vocal of Joss Stone, mature beyond its years, it has also grabbed the attention of The White Stripes themselves, who have even been playing a version similar to Joss’ in their recent live shows.
