Terry Callier – Hidden Conversations

Mr Bongo presents this brand-new, eagerly-awaited studio album from the legendary Terry Callier. It has been a good few years since Terry´s last studio album and he has linked up with the mighty MASSIVE ATTACK on this album on 3 tracks. He recently recorded a track with Massive Attack that reached no 15 in the charts.



Following Terry´s performance at the MELTDOWN FESTIVAL, curated by MASSIVE ATTACK in June 08, the collaboration of MA´s haunting production and Terry´s beautiful, emotive vocals is stunning. All but 1 tracks on this album were written by Terry Callier and WINGS and JOHN LEE HOOKER were co-written by Robert Del Naja from Massive Attack. LIVE WITH ME was written by Massive Attack.



This album sees Terry displaying the form that has meant his career has spanned nearly four decades and fourteen albums. However there is a new electronic edge which compliments Terry´s style perfectly and offers a new direction. Terry Callier is, without question, one of the few remaining true musical legends and this album will appeal to fans both old and new.
