Benjamin Gibbard – Home EP

Over the course of this 8-song release, Gibbard (Death cab for cutie/The Postal Service) and Kenny (American Analog Set) explore the concept of “home” from the inside out. Three of Gibbard’s four offerings are new songs recorded in late 2002 and early 2003, with the fourth being a cover of AmAnSet’s “Choir Vandals” (Know By Heart, 2002). Kenny went a bit deeper in his vault of musical gems and included the first song he ever wrote (“Hometown Fantasy”) as well as two brand new compositions and a cover of DCFC’s “Line of Best Fit” (Something About Airplanes, 1998).
