The Haggis Horns – Hot Damn!

The Haggis Horns are one of the funkiest live bands you will ever see, a brass heavy funk powerhouse that have been rocking clubs up and down the country for years. Based around the nucleus of Malcolm Strathan (Trumpet), Jason Rae (Alto Sax) & Atholl Ransome (Tenor Sax) the Haggis Horns (yes, they’re from Scotland) extend to an eight-piece live outfit, with guitarist Ben Barker also taking a production role in their recorded output. Debut 7″ Hot Damn! was released in November 2006, with latest single The Traveller winning even more fans over to their distinctive Northern funk sound.
