Ambrose Adekoya Campbell – London Is The Place For Me 3

Most of the recordings here were done under the leadership of Ambrose Adekoya Campbell who came to London from Lagos in 1945 after the war.  Campbell was highly influential on the changing rhythms of his scene, he mixed West African and West Indian styles with those of the London community around him, in a way that let in more Latin and Caribbean influences.
