The Leaders – Mudfoot

For those of us who didn’t buy a lot of new jazz recordongs in the ’80s because it was way too safe, and the rest of us were going mental over Boogie, this new thing called rap and the birth of Techno / House music; there were some indie labels that have now become ones to search out. Labels including Soul Note, Concord, India Navigation and Black Hawk put out some serious bits.

The Leaders is a jazz supergroup as one can see from the cover.
It is pretty much what one would expect from a recording in 1986 but for the 2 monsters recorded here.
