Remixes of Akufenís ëMy Wayí come courtesy of Fred Gianelli (Little Green Men, Kooky Scientist, +8), Hakan Lidbo (Transmat, Shitkatapult, Laser Gun), Daniel Bell (Accelerate, Klang, Peacefrog) and Cabanne (Telegraph). There are 2 mixes that you should head for straight away, firstly Fred Gianelli returns with a superb and minimal cut that is crisp as you like, the vocal treated to a superb panning effect and the bassline stripped to a few bubbles on every bar which works a treat backed by the minimal melodies and spacious treatment given to the samples, ace. Mr Minimal himself Daniel Bell comes correct using the swing 4/4 favoured by Akufen to back the synthesized strings and sub bass that make up the bare bones of the track, crisp as you like. Hakan Lidbo supplies a stuttered 4/4 remix with wobbly percussion and deep keys, and Cabanne throws a techno mix up with some wicked percussive synthís for the main noise, a varied and ace collection of interpretations.
