Transcendances – New Sound Patterns

New Portuguese label GROOVEMENT has been steadily building up the buzz with their first two 12″ EPs that is rare for such a young label (check the who’s who below!). This debut compilation CD from them is a showcase of who’s who in the broken beat/nu-jazz scene. Combining established artists with up-and-coming artists, this is a great compilation. The heavy hitters on here are impressive: DOMU (in his ZOLTAR guise), JAZZANOVA (with their hard-to-find collaboration with DIXON included here), MOONSTARR, COSMIC ROCKER and BEN MONO. Lots of previously unavailable tracks on here, don’t sleep!
