The Soul Brothers Inc. hail from Houston, Texas and were likely one of the most important funk/soul groups in the city in the late 1960s until they broke up in the mid `70s. Tramp released The Story of the Soul Bros. Inc. in late 2010, now it is time to pick the two best songs for release on 45rpm single. The A-side, Pyramid, is a northern soul anthem and have been bootlegged many times. The flip side, Girl In The Hot Pants, is something for the deep funk 45 collector and probably the heaviest funk track they ever cut.
