Roisin Murphy – Sequins EP 1 Of 3

 ‘ Ruby you really were a gas, ya get me?’. Sequins is the first of three highly limited lushly packaged vinyl editions from the dream linkup of Roisin ‘Moloko’ Murphy and Matthew ‘Food’ Herbert. Four tracks feature here with contributions from members of the Matthew Herbert Big Band. ‘Ruby Blue’ starts out with a discordant rock rave stab from Matthew before Roisin’s pointed, colourful and so soulful vocals drop into this mad fun track with a dark centre.
