Since he started making music in 1998, MKL has been receiving critical acclaim and support from pretty much the entire soulful underground community. Everyone from Francois KEVORKIAN, Louie Vega, Gilles Peterson, Danny Krivit, and Joe Claussell to name a few have been supporters of this producer/visionary.

After releasing material on Joe Claussell’s Spiritual Life Music label under the guise 3 Generations Walking, MKL set up his own label Lion1MUSIC. Now for the first time ever on CD, MKL has put together a selection of highlights of his releases including hard to find originals, remixes, dubs and exclusives.

This includes the highly sought after Francois K Dub of “Midnight Bustling”, the storming 3 Generations Walking?s mix of Fat Freddys Drop and the MKL Vs Soy Sos classic “Her Song”. MKL has just returned from a sell out DJ tour in Japan playing at ZING in Osaka and Space Lab Yellow in Tokyo. He continues to hold residencies in NYC.
