Bussetti – The Itch/ Debussetti
£5.99
The Itch is a jazzy, emotionally charged epic written during the summer of 2003. Jana Hermon’s intimate vocal line and Nick Atkins’ Pharoah Sanders-esque tenor sax honks are set against producer Dan Edge’s exquisite tapestry of strings and reversed French Horns. The flip side, Debussetti, has been a regular crowd-pleaser at Bussetti shows for over a year. A true mongrel of a tune, it draws on elements of Kung-Fu soundtracks and cut-up classical music, fusing them with an off-kilter hip hop beat, a dirty analogue bassline and Charlie Miller’s trademark rapid-fire MCing.
