Clarice Labbe/ Ennio Styles – Version Excursions Sampler

In the Spring of 2005 Counterpoint Records will unleash itís ëVersion Excursioní compilation cd. The concept for this is to select killer cuts from our ëJazz Biznizí, ëDisco Juiceí and ëAfrika Undergroundí compilations and have them reworked, reedited and remixed by the likes of Yam Who, Beyond There, Nicola Conte, Misa Negra (Bugz crew), Fertile Ground, Les Gammas, etc. Some of these tracks were only released as limited edition 12î singles, others are exclusive to this album. As a taster for ëVersion Excursioní, here are two bona fide jazz bizniz nuggets, lovingly re-edited and reworked by Nick The Record & Ennio Styles, respectively.
