A sweet sampling of 4 tracks from the wonderful Vigilante project — a sampling of the funky 70s soundtrack work of Roy Budd! The set features 3 tracks that are all dancefloor remixes of Budd’s classic grooves, done with a style that still holds all the charm of the original, but which expands the original tunes a bit. Titles include “Goodbye Carter (Bobby Hughes Experience)”, “Diamond Fortress (Karminsky Experience rmx)”, and “Jazz It Up (Mitchell & Dewbury rmx)”. 12″ also features the great tune “Foxy” — a jazzy original by Budd, previously unreleased, and not on the full CD!
